What you do, day to day
- Design AI features with a tight boundary around what the model decides.
- Build retrieval layers with citations and a hard refusal gate.
- Write adversarial eval harnesses and ship them to the client.
- Keep AI features inside a cost budget treated as a hard requirement.
- Keep AI out of money math and security boundaries, by design.
What we look for
- Five or more years in software, with real production AI feature work.
- A healthy skepticism of AI hype, and a clear sense of where models fail.
- Fluency with evals as a discipline, not an afterthought.
- The instinct to move work out of the model when a query will do.
